This position is set in a remote environment, primarily focusing on school-based mental health services. You will engage with students, parents, and educational staff to address a wide range of mental health issues. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to identify mental health needs, followed by the development of personalized treatment plans rooted in evidence-based practices.

• Utilizing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to effectively engage students and facilitate their healing processes.

• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation according to HIPAA regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and ethical standards.

• Collaborating with educators, psychologists, and psychiatrists to implement coordinated care plans that address each student’s unique challenges.

• Participating in ongoing case consultations and peer reviews to continually improve client care and uphold the highest standards of practice.

• Providing psychoeducation to students and families regarding mental health concerns, treatment options, and available community resources.

• Staying informed about the latest mental health research and trends to effectively integrate new knowledge into clinical practice.

• Managing a full caseload, ensuring each client receives the attention and support necessary to meet their individual treatment goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves school-aged children and adolescents experiencing various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and adjustment issues. Your work will be essential in creating a supportive environment where students feel safe and are encouraged to express themselves openly, ultimately contributing to their academic success and emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York.

• At least 3 years of experience in a clinical setting with a strong focus on providing psychotherapy services.

• Familiarity with solution-based psychotherapy interventions and techniques.
