Accounts Payable Specialist

Marc Fisher Footwear is seeking a NEW Accounts Payable Associate! This personwill possess the desire and ability to learn new software, skills, and knowledge to support our Accounts Payable team. This position reports to the Accounts Payable Manager and will be based out of our Greenwich, CT office with the ability to work on a hybrid schedule (in office 3 days per week and remotely 2 days). RESPONSIBILITIES: Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling all invoices Allocates expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoices and recording entries Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions Maintains accounting department files and records Process information into accounting data entry system Reviews, audits and processes expense reports Assist the chargeback analyst with tracking and recording chargebacks Assists with special accounting projects as needed Performs other related duties as assigned by management SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree required, Accounting or Finance related majors preferred Great attention to detail, excellent problem-solving & follow-up skills Tech savvy; ability and willingness to learn new programs and proactively navigate Excellent written and verbal communication skills Microsoft Office Suite expertise, Advanced Excel knowledge a plus Oracle a plus but not required BENEFITS: 401k Retirement Plan w/match Pet Insurance Medical and Dependent Flex Spending Benefits 15 days of PTO (prorated based on start date) 3pm Fridays and 1pm Summer Fridays Company Overview: Established in 2005, Marc Fisher Footwear company is a leading full-service, product-driven fashion footwear company with knowledge and expertise in design, sales, sourcing, distribution and marketing – all with dedicated and strategic direction for each brand within the portfolio, which includes GUESS, G by Guess, Nine West, Tommy Hilfiger, Earth, Calvin Klein, Hunter Boots, Rockport, Bandolino, indigo rd., Unisa, and Easy Spirit along with the namesake brands – Marc Fisher and Marc Fisher LTD.
