Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from your preferred home office setup without lengthy commutes. Our telehealth platform provides you with the tools needed to conduct effective virtual therapy sessions. We prioritize flexibility to ensure you can adequately respond to patient needs while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on your patients’ schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify the needs of clients and create tailored treatment plans.

• Deliver therapeutic interventions using evidence-based modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and other relevant approaches.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic support groups, providing a platform for clients to share experiences and foster community.
\n
• Collaborate with a diverse team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and support services during mental health emergencies, responding adeptly to urgent client needs.
\n
• Educate clients about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources available to them.
\n
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation to comply with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate in ongoing case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education activities to enhance skills and knowledge.

• Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health therapy and apply new knowledge to practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client base, including individuals, couples, and families affected by various mental health concerns. Our patients come from different socio-economic backgrounds and cultures, enriching your experience as a therapist and enhancing your skill set to address unique challenges faced by different demographics.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and therapeutic frameworks.

• Demonstrated ability to perform thorough mental health assessments and develop effective personalized treatment strategies.

• Experience in providing psychotherapy, both individual and group, to varied populations.
\n
• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport with clients and collaborating with team members.

• High ethical standards, professionalism, and sound judgment in clinical practice.

• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and maintaining accurate client documents.

Preferred Experience\n

While we welcome all qualified applicants, preference will be given to those with previous experience delivering telehealth services or working within a multidisciplinary mental health team. Familiarity with trauma-informed care approaches and a background in substance abuse treatment will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
