Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Mind Sight Counseling Services, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual and group therapy sessions to address emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges faced by clients during rehabilitation.

• Performing comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health needs, developing tailored treatment plans, and establishing achievable goals that align with the clients' rehabilitation journey.

• Advocating for clients and their families by connecting them with community resources, support networks, and social services to enhance their recovery.
\n
• Providing immediate crisis intervention support to ensure the emotional safety and stability of clients whenever necessary.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation, including client records, progress notes, and treatment plans, in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals—including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians—to deliver comprehensive and integrated care to the client population.

• Educating clients and their families on the emotional dimensions of rehabilitation, coping strategies, and self-care techniques to facilitate adjustment to the challenges of their recovery.

• Engaging in community outreach and networking to build valuable partnerships that enhance referral resources and strengthen community ties.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population includes individuals facing a variety of health challenges requiring rehabilitation. This includes clients recovering from physical injuries, chronic illness, mental health disorders, and addiction. Qualifications\n

• A current license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia or the applicable state/province/country where you will be practicing.

Compensation and Benefits\n
