Key Responsibilities\n

• Participate in clinical consultations and co-learning environments to enhance your skills and provide the highest quality of care.

• Complete all required clinical documentation accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.

• Deliver direct mental health services that include behavioral health assessments, individual and group counseling, and case management.
\n
• Collaborate as needed with prenatal care teams consisting of medical professionals, midwives, doulas, and lactation educators to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Co-facilitate childbirth education and postpartum support groups in partnership with birth workers to empower families during pivotal life transitions.
\n
• Engage in community activities aimed at promoting wellness and building supportive networks among birthing individuals and their families.
\n
• Take on additional duties as required to ensure effective program delivery and client satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on serving Black birthing families, ensuring their unique needs and cultural contexts are prioritized in all aspects of care. Your background in mental health will enable you to build trust and rapport with clients, promoting an environment where they feel safe and supported throughout their prenatal and postpartum experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in a behavioral science or related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse individuals and multifaceted teams.

• Strong ability to operate both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and self-improvement.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience specifically working with perinatal populations is highly desired.

• Familiarity with community resources related to maternal and infant health.

• Prior experience in facilitating group therapy or educational workshops.

Compensation and Benefits\n
