Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct virtual counseling sessions through video chat, ensuring ethical and compassionate support for clients.
\n
• Perform ongoing assessments to accurately gauge client needs and develop personalized treatment plans that promote mental well-being.

• Help clients cultivate effective coping strategies, problem-solving skills, and communication techniques tailored to their individual circumstances.

• Document sessions and treatment plans with minimal paperwork, maintaining accurate records that comply with organizational standards.

• Participate in continuous professional development and supervision as needed under applicable licensure guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position specifically caters to stable, low-acuity adults seeking mental health support. By focusing on non-crisis clients, you will help individuals navigate life’s challenges, improve their mental health status, and enhance their overall quality of life through effective counseling methods.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Current independent licensure in the state of Texas as an LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or equivalent (PsyD preferred).
\n
• Ability to provide therapy without supervision and without any disciplinary actions on your record.
\n
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and a high level of computer literacy necessary for telehealth sessions.
\n
• Ensure a stable and reliable Wi-Fi connection to facilitate uninterrupted video counseling.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with adult populations, particularly focusing on low-acuity mental health issues.

• Familiarity with primary therapeutic methodologies, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Experience in telehealth services is advantageous, although training will be provided to new hires.
