Our resort‑style hotel is an urban oasis along the Mississippi River in downtown St.Louis. It features a private poolside cabana on the Sky Terrace, a table filled with shareable plates at Cinder House, and floor‑to‑ceiling windows letting you enjoy views of the Gateway Arch. Ramsay’s Kitchen, the Michelin‑starred restaurant of world‑renowned chef Gordon Ramsay, is located in the Four Seasons Hotel St.Louis. The restaurant offers American‑style cuisine with global and local influences, complemented by Four Seasons’ best‑in‑class service. The Sous Chef is a key management role overseeing the daily performance of the kitchen and all related operations across Ramsay’s Kitchen Restaurant &Bar, the Four Seasons Pool, 24/7 In‑Room Dining, and the Spa Café. Core responsibilities include planning, organizing, and directing culinary staff while ensuring exceptional quality and consistency across all outlets. The Sous Chef also supports daily production as needed and reports to the hotel’s Executive Chef. What You Will Do Safeguard health and safety standards, maintain kitchen equipment, and keep the kitchen clean and compliant. Lead daily food preparation, ensuring consistency, quality, and smooth service execution. Track inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs to support efficient kitchen operations. Oversee all day‑to‑day functions of the restaurant kitchen and support overall team performance. Train, develop, and motivate staff to consistently meet and exceed established food‑preparation standards. What You Bring Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail. Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, menu planning, and food safety. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in a similar role is a plus. Culinary or Hospitality degree or certificate is a plus. What We Offer Competitive salary.
