Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as an LCSW, you will engage in a variety of critical responsibilities which include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients to identify their counseling needs and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to address substance use and co-occurring mental health issues.
\n
• Utilizing the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual) criteria to assess clients for substance abuse diagnoses, ensuring the appropriate level of care is established per ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) criteria.
\n
• Developing the substance abuse counseling portions of client treatment plans while ensuring all documentation—including assessments, reassessments, and follow-ups—are recorded accurately in the clinical records.
\n
• Collaborating with the Clinical Director and Executive Director to maintain a therapeutic environment conducive to effective treatment and long-term recovery.
\n
• Coordinating with various support services for both clients and families, ensuring continuity of care and documenting these services, as well as facilitating needed interventions for crisis-oriented issues.
\n
• Maintaining an active caseload, managing all case management and utilization review updates, and fulfilling treatment planning duties.
\n
• Establishing and fostering collaborations with referral sources such as legal entities, educational institutions, and workplaces to optimize client support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals experiencing addiction and co-occurring disorders. Each client presents unique challenges and backgrounds, offering you a dynamic and fulfilling work experience that will allow you to apply your expertise in mental health counseling to facilitate their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) and a valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential.

• Demonstrated professionalism, with excellent therapeutic boundaries and cultural competency.
\n
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage your time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaborate within a team.

Preferred Experience\n

Preferred candidates will have experience specifically in addiction counseling, especially with co-occurring disorders, as well as familiarity with treatment methodologies conducive to effective recovery. Prior experience in a clinical setting providing therapy individually and in groups is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to an attractive salary, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
