Work Environment

At our Jersey City facility, you will work in a collaborative and supportive environment alongside a team of likeminded professionals who are dedicated to patient-centered care. The facility is designed with the patient experience in mind, featuring modern therapeutic equipment, therapy areas tailored for rehabilitation exercises, and access to advanced imaging technologies. Your schedule will typically be Monday to Friday, from 2 PM to 8 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate their therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in coordination with physicians and the patient care team, focused on achieving specific therapeutic goals.
• Administer therapeutic interventions, utilizing advanced modalities and techniques while adhering to professional codes of ethics.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on exercises, therapeutic appliances, and home care practices to enhance recovery.
• Manage your caseload effectively by prioritizing daily staffing needs and coordinating with fellow team members for optimized patient care delivery.
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment accurately, contributing to an ongoing dialogue regarding the patient's rehabilitation journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population encompasses a wide range of ages and conditions, from pediatric patients recovering from surgery to adults with chronic pain issues or those needing post-operative rehabilitation. As a Physical Therapist, your role is crucial in restoring function and improving the overall health of these individuals. You will provide empathetic and professional support to help them navigate their rehab pathways, ensuring they feel valued and cared for throughout the process.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy License in New Jersey.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, or commitment to obtain it within the first 30 days of employment.
• New graduates are welcome; no prior experience is necessary.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic physical therapy settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with modern rehabilitation techniques and modalities.

Compensation and Benefits
