Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through initial consultations to gain a deep understanding of each client's unique circumstances.

• Design and implement tailored treatment and recovery plans for a variety of individual, couple, and family needs.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions to address mental, emotional, and behavioral challenges, employing evidence-based practices.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client progress and case notes, ensuring adherence to ethical and legal standards.

• Monitor ongoing treatment effectiveness and adjust intervention strategies as needed in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

• Provide referrals to specialized services and follow up with clients to ensure continuity of care.

• Support families and caregivers in understanding and managing mental health issues, enhancing their ability to aid in recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Our clients range from adolescents to adults, each requiring unique approaches tailored to their specific life situations and cultural backgrounds. Your expertise will help clients navigate their mental health journeys effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in Illinois is mandatory.

• Completion of the National Counselor Exam (NCE) and/or National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Exam (NCMHCE) with a passing score.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on conveying empathy and understanding.

• A commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and ethical standards in practice.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working in telehealth or virtual counseling environments is preferred but not required.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to manage documentation efficiently.

• Knowledge of best practices as defined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Compensation and Benefits\n
