Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' histories and determine the appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing and coping.

• Work closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and medical professionals to integrate patient care, ensuring a comprehensive approach to treatment.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, responding to patients' urgent mental health needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in Illinois as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A solid foundational understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

Independence Therapy Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
