This position will be entirely remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions with clients through secure telehealth technology. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand the unique experiences and needs of each client.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that emphasize recovery and resilience-building strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate therapy sessions that guide clients through trauma processing, coping skills development, and healing, while adapting methods based on individual progress.

• Coordinate care with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to promote a holistic treatment approach, ensuring comprehensive support for our clients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating both skill and compassion in high-pressure situations.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and coping strategies, empowering them to understand and manage their experiences.

• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with legal standards and ethical guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on supporting survivors of trauma, including but not limited to those affected by post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Understanding the nuances of trauma's impact, you will play a vital role in helping clients rebuild their lives and find stability following distressing experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois is mandatory.

• Comprehensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment frameworks is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
