Customer Success Lead-Pharma/Life Sciences

MathCo

We are seeking a customer success lead to drive growth, account expansion, and strategic partnership development across our Pharma & Life Sciences portfolio. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to pharmaceutical clients, helping identify new opportunities, expand existing engagements, and connect client needs with MathCo's analytics, AI, and data-driven solutions. The role is ideal for a commercially minded leader who combines deep pharma domain expertise with strong consulting, relationship management, and business development capabilities. Level will be determined based on experience and may be hired at Associate Principal or Principal level. Key Responsibilities Revenue Growth & Account Expansion (70-80%) Build and strengthen executive-level client relationships Identify whitespace opportunities within existing accounts Drive account growth and expansion initiatives Partner with internal teams to position analytics, AI, and data solutions Develop and mature long-term client partnerships Support opportunity shaping and solution development Delivery & Client Success Oversight (20-30%) Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure successful execution Define project scope and business outcomes Support solution adoption and value realization Serve as a bridge between clients and delivery organizations Ensure client satisfaction and long-term engagement success Required Qualifications 10+ years of consulting, analytics, or life sciences industry experience Demonstrated experience growing strategic client accounts Experience managing executive-level client relationships Experience identifying and converting new business opportunities Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills Experience working with global or offshore delivery teams Preferred Qualifications Experience with AI, GenAI, or advanced analytics solutions Experience working within: Pharmaceutical manufacturers Life Sciences Similar pharma-focused consulting organizations Ideal Candidate Profile The successful candidate will bring: Existing pharma industry relationships Experience supporting accounts such as pharma clients, or similar organizations Strong commercial instincts and growth orientation Ability to balance client engagement, opportunity development, and delivery oversight Deep understanding of pharma commercial, analytics, and AI use cases Location Strong preference for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Exceptional candidates located in the Los Angeles area may also be considered depending on account alignment and business need. Travel Approximately 25-30% travel based on client needs and account portfolio. #J-18808-Ljbffr
