Work Environment

This full-time position is predominantly onsite, with therapists providing care directly within patients' homes across the Cypress area. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients recovering from various injuries, diseases, or surgeries in their home environments.
• Develop customized treatment plans that utilize effective methods such as therapeutic exercises, hands-on therapy, and assistive technologies to alleviate pain and promote mobility.
• Document patient progress diligently, recording details of treatments, responses, and any adjustments to therapy goals.
• Regularly reassess patients to identify areas where treatment plans may require adjustments, ensuring continuous improvement towards achieving therapy objectives.
• Recommend and fit patients with necessary assistive devices and instruct them in their proper use for improved self-care and mobility.
• Provide training to patients, caregivers, and family members on physical therapy modalities, thereby enhancing understanding and compliance with treatment plans.
• Stay updated on best practices and advancements in physical therapy through workshops, publications, and participation in professional societies.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of a valid physical therapy license in the State of Florida.

Preferred Experience
