Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) at Inner Healing Therapy & Wellness, your role will include the following responsibilities:

• Assess patient needs by conducting comprehensive evaluations to better understand their social, emotional, and psychological conditions, and develop individualized care plans.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—comprising of physicians, nurses, and treatment specialists—to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care and discharge goals.
\n
• Facilitate the development of effective discharge plans, coordinating services and resources that uphold continuity of care.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional development through skills training and participation in competency enhancement programs.
\n
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in patients’ electronic health records, complying with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate in special projects related to program development or clinical improvement, showcasing your initiative and dedication to enhancing service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders at different stages of recovery. You will also work with their families, understanding the complex dynamics and emotions associated with addiction and recovery. This role is fundamental in promoting a healing environment where individuals feel supported and are encouraged to actively participate in their treatment process.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
\n
• A valid Washington state LICSW license.
\n
• A passion for delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
\n
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience is required, those with experience in addiction recovery or working within detox environments are highly preferred. Experience interfacing with diverse patient populations and employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities will be advantageous.
