This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in how you balance your professional and personal life while providing essential support to your clients. The work schedule is structured from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some adaptability to accommodate client needs as required. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand patient needs, using established diagnostic criteria and intake interview techniques.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups to address mental health topics, enhancing community engagement and patient education.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and holistic patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support, ensuring swift and effective response to mental health emergencies.

• Empower patients through education on mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources available to them.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities.

• Stay current with advancements in mental health research, integrating new knowledge into practice to enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health counselor at Serene Unity, you will work primarily with an incredibly diverse client base within the Fresno community. Our patients range from young adults to seniors, all facing varying degrees of mental health challenges. You will offer individual, couple, and family counseling services, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each client while fostering an inclusive and empathetic environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to develop effective treatment plans and perform comprehensive mental health assessments.

• Proficiency in facilitating both individual and group therapy, with a proven track record of working with diverse populations.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster trust and rapport with clients.

• Sound judgment in maintaining professional boundaries and ethics.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital documentation practices.

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
