Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of a remote setting, allowing you to provide top-notch care while working from the comfort of your home. Though the work is primarily virtual, our outpatient office in Conyers serves as a collaborative hub where team members can engage in regular team meetings, consultations, and training sessions. Our work schedule typically runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on the needs of our patients and their treatment schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to pinpoint the needs of patients, which will serve as the foundation for individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic methods, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to effectively address a variety of mental health concerns.

• Facilitate psychoeducational seminars and support groups aimed at promoting community understanding of mental health issues and fostering a sense of belonging among participants.

• Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated care for all patients.

• Deliver crisis intervention services when necessary, assisting patients in acute mental health situations.

• Educate patients about their specific mental health conditions, available treatment options, and local community resources to support their recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will provide care to a diverse population of clients, including individuals, couples, and families across various age groups. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• In-depth understanding of mental health disorders along with proven experience in applying evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Demonstrated capability in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and devising effective treatment strategies.

• Previous experience providing both individual and group therapy to a diverse clientele.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build trust with patients quickly.

• Knowledge of ethical practices and professional boundaries in mental health counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n
