Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and compassionate assessments to understand the unique needs and treatment goals of each client seeking assistance for substance use disorders.

• Provide individual counseling sessions using motivational interviewing techniques, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and other proven modalities to encourage patient engagement and foster change.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to deliver integrated, comprehensive care to clients.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention and actionable support for clients experiencing substance-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on the nature of addiction, various recovery strategies, and available community resources to enhance their support systems.

• Maintain precise and confidential records of all client interactions and treatment progress, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and state regulations.

• Engage actively in regular team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education activities to enhance both personal and team competency.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a crucial member of our team, you will primarily work with individuals grappling with substance use disorders, ranging from those in the early stages of recovery to those who have experienced multiple relapses. Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• Demonstrated knowledge of substance use disorders and proficiency in evidence-based treatment models that promote recovery.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy specifically within addiction recovery settings is highly valued.

Inner Strength offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
