The remote work setup at Legacy Counseling allows for flexibility while fostering a collaborative atmosphere. As an LPC, you will engage in weekly case review meetings with your peers to ensure quality care. You will utilize SimplePractice, our chosen electronic health record system, for maintaining client records and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough comprehensive assessments to evaluate client needs and collaboratively develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual circumstances.

• Deliver high-quality individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices to address a range of issues.

• Work closely with clients to establish measurable therapeutic goals and monitor their progress throughout the therapeutic journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of all client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA standards through the SimplePractice platform.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to coordinate holistic care and support for clients.
\n
• Engage in continuing education and training to stay current with advancements in mental health counseling, ensuring best practices are followed.

• Participate in marketing initiatives that enhance the profile of Legacy Counseling, including contributions to your Psychology Today profile.

• Maintain a minimum caseload of 10 therapy sessions each week, with the expectation that it could grow to 25 sessions for high-performing clinicians.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LPC at Legacy Counseling, your primary focus will be on individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and ADHD. You will work with a diverse set of clients, providing them with a safe space to navigate their mental health challenges and life experiences. Our practice aims to prioritize the needs of people of color, acknowledging the unique challenges they face in the mental health landscape, while also embracing the healing journeys of individuals from various backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field is required.

• Possession of a current Pennsylvania state license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) is mandatory.

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in delivering counseling services, ideally within a clinical or outpatient setting.

• Demonstrated strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills to effectively guide therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport and trust with clients.

• Ability to work independently while being an integral part of a supportive team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in diverse therapy modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapies, and trauma-informed care will be highly regarded. Experience in facilitating group therapy sessions and familiarity with telehealth platforms will also be beneficial.

Legacy Counseling LLC offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
