This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexible working conditions while still requiring some in-office days at our community health clinic. Our clinic is designed to provide a welcoming atmosphere for clients, equipped with the necessary resources for therapy and collaboration among staff. You will be part of an integrated healthcare team, guided by our Director of Clinical & Counseling Services, and will routinely connect with colleagues for support and supervision.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify clients' therapeutic needs and develop tailored treatment goals.

• Provide high-quality individual counseling and facilitate group therapy sessions for adults, emphasizing trauma-informed approaches.

• Engage with teenage clients, helping them process their experiences with domestic violence and enhancing their coping strategies.
\n
• Utilize Play Therapy techniques for children, ensuring a safe space for them to express themselves.
\n
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to ethical guidelines.

• Participate actively in clinical supervision meetings, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
\n
• Provide referrals to community resources, crisis support, and practical assistance, advocating for clients' diverse needs.

• Monitor and follow up on case progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to improve client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve clients who are women, teens, and children dealing with the psychological ramifications of domestic violence. This role requires a sensitive approach to trauma and a commitment to empowering individuals through personalized therapy. As a key advocate for your clients, you will work closely with them to build resilience and facilitate healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is essential.

• Possession of a current LPCC license is mandatory for this role.

• Proven experience in individual counseling and family interventions, particularly in trauma-focused settings.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with a diverse clientele.

• Strong ethical foundation and commitment to confidentiality.
\n
• Availability to work late afternoons and at least two evenings per week, along with some weekend hours as needed.

• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are also required for occasional in-office duties.

Preferred Experience\n

• Candidates with specialized training or certification in Play Therapy will be given preference.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience, coupled with sign-on bonuses.
