Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments for clients presenting with complex psychological profiles, focusing on anxiety, depression, trauma, and physical pain related to work injuries.

• Provide tailored individual therapy sessions, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness techniques, effectively addressing client's emotional and psychological needs.

• Facilitate weekly psychoeducational classes aimed at equipping clients with skills to manage pain, cope with stress, and enhance mental wellness.

• Regularly evaluate client progress during therapy sessions, adjusting treatment plans based on individual needs and treatment goals.

• Document all client interactions diligently using our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and make necessary referrals to other services or modalities available within the clinic.

• Continuously engage in professional development to stay informed on best practices in pain psychology and related fields.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adult clients who are navigating the aftermath of work-related injuries, many of whom may be battling chronic pain and mental health conditions. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work is required.
