Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individual, group, couples, and family therapy tailored to the specific needs of clients.

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' needs and develop customized, client-centered treatment plans.

• Monitor clients’ progress regularly, providing crisis interventions when necessary and adapting care strategies as needed.

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure holistic care, including sharing insights during case consultations and team meetings.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions and treatment progress to comply with legal, ethical, and clinical standards.

• Stay current with best practices and continuing education requirements to provide the highest quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of your work will be with clients in our detox center, many of whom are facing substance use challenges and co-occurring mental health disorders. Your approach will be vital in creating an environment of trust and safety, facilitating open dialogue, and making a lasting impact on their recovery paths. You will work closely with clients to identify their strengths, resources, and barriers to regain a sense of hope and direction.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• Active California LCSW license (required).

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in clinical settings, preferably outpatient or detox.

• Solid understanding of trauma-informed care principles and knowledge of evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Excellent documentation skills with proficiency in care coordination practices.

• Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with telehealth platforms and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is a plus.

• Familiarity with the DSM-5 and its application in clinical settings.

• Background in addiction recovery and knowledge of related support networks.

Compensation and Benefits\n
