Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for clients entering the detox program, considering their personal backgrounds, mental health history, and substance use patterns.

• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to help clients develop coping strategies, enhance emotional regulation, and foster personal growth during the detox process.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed, employing effective de-escalation techniques during urgent situations, and coordinating referrals to additional levels of care when appropriate.

• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress, share insights, and coordinate comprehensive care with psychiatrists, nurses, and other mental health professionals.

• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to accurately document assessments, treatment plans, and client progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Offer psychoeducation and support to clients and their families, empowering them with knowledge about mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and available resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who are in the early stages of recovery from substance use disorders. These clients may present a variety of co-occurring mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and trauma. Your role will be integral in empathizing with their struggles, building trust, and encouraging fully engaged participation in the recovery process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Texas.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health, ideally within a substance use treatment or detox setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
