Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Clinical Social Worker, you will take on a variety of responsibilities that are crucial to the integrity and effectiveness of our treatment programs. Your day-to-day activities will include:

• Documenting clinical progress through meticulous record-keeping, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards to protect patient confidentiality.

• Participating in an interdisciplinary team, engaging with psychiatrists, psychologists, and addiction specialists to coordinate comprehensive and effective care strategies.

• Facilitating case consultations and peer reviews to promote continuous professional development and enhance the quality of care provided to clients.

• Educating patients and their families about mental health issues, coping strategies, treatment plans, and available community resources, equipping them with knowledge to navigate their recovery.

• Staying informed of the latest research and developments in mental health to integrate innovative practices into your approach, thereby enhancing patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients undergoing detoxification from substance use disorders. Many patients will have complex mental health needs intertwined with their substance abuse issues, requiring comprehensive assessment and treatment strategies. Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida.
