Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments that are culturally sensitive and age-appropriate while documenting findings electronically to maintain accurate records.

• Deliver a range of behavioral health services such as individual counseling, group therapy sessions, crisis intervention, and treatment planning tailored to the unique needs of clients.

• Develop and maintain trusting relationships with clients, facilitating communication about emotional and psychological challenges while providing necessary support and referrals.

• Integrate strategies for effective crisis intervention, ensuring that you are prepared to respond to the immediate needs of clients when they arise.

• Collaborate with Quality Improvement teams to refine and enhance processes for data collection, striving to improve service delivery within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with clients facing mental health and substance use issues. This highly vulnerable population requires exceptional understanding, compassion, and the ability to approach various situations with patience and professionalism. Qualifications\n

• Current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) is required, accompanied by a minimum of three (3) years of post-licensure professional experience in a social work setting.

• Proven knowledge of effective counseling techniques, crisis intervention strategies, and the ability to exercise independent judgment while delivering direct services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
