Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations to assess patients’ mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Direct psychoeducational and process-oriented therapy groups to equip patients with coping strategies and skills necessary for recovery.

• Manage intake processes and collaborate with referral sources and outpatient providers to facilitate continuity of care from admission through discharge.

• Lead therapy sessions that encourage self-exploration and healing, adapting your approach based on patient responses and progress.

• Complete discharge sessions with patients to reinforce coping skills, ensure thorough understanding of the transition plan, and confirm post-discharge resources are in place.

• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding discharge appointments and ongoing support systems.

• Participate actively in clinical outreach and program tours to promote our services and connect with local community resources.

• Document clinical interactions and maintain adherence to required timelines for case management documentation, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals experiencing substance use disorders and related mental health challenges. Understanding the complexities of dual diagnosis and providing empathetic, evidence-based approaches to treatment is essential. Your role will focus not only on immediate crisis intervention but also on fostering long-term recovery through education and support within the outpatient continuum of care.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, structured according to individual caseload and experience.
