Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough behavioral health psychosocial assessments to identify patient needs, strengths, and potential barriers to recovery.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists.
\n
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing cognitive-behavioral techniques and other therapeutic modalities suited to the unique needs of clients.
\n
• Assist clients with crisis intervention during acute mental health episodes, such as suicidal ideation or substance withdrawal symptoms.
\n
• Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans, ensuring timely follow-ups and comprehensive patient care.
\n
• Empower clients by providing resources and referrals to essential community services, addressing needs such as housing, healthcare, and employment.
\n
• Document all clinical interactions meticulously, adhering to ethical standards and legal regulations regarding patient confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will be primarily focusing on patients at various stages of detoxification, as well as their families. This includes individuals struggling with substance abuse, mental illness, and those facing significant life challenges, such as trauma, loss, or major life transitions. Your contributions will be pivotal in helping them achieve recovery and stability.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited graduate program.
\n
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) – required.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a behavioral health setting, preferably in detox or rehabilitation services.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in providing care for veterans, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
\n
• Strong skills in taking psychosocial histories, performing suicide assessments, and competent in case management evaluations.

• Knowledge and applied skills in delivering individual, group, and family therapy.
\n
• Familiarity with community resources to effectively advocate for clients' needs.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience using telehealth platforms to conduct assessments and therapy sessions.

• Understanding of co-occurring disorders and trauma-informed care practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
