Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ social, emotional, and environmental needs, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their circumstances.

• Develop tailored service plans that outline specific goals, interventions, and progress metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet evolving client needs.

• Provide direct counseling services to individuals and families grappling with substance abuse challenges, equipping them with coping mechanisms and resources.

• Engage in crisis intervention techniques, carrying out risk assessments and developing safety plans to mitigate immediate threats during sessions.

• Collaborate with clients to explore their strengths and establish personalized service pathways that connect them with vital community resources.

• Actively coordinate care with community partners, including healthcare providers and local organizations, to ensure holistic support for each client.

• Participate in outreach initiatives to educate the community about available services and increase awareness of our programs.

• Engage in regular case conferences and team meetings, contributing insights from your practice to enhance collaborative care efforts and foster a supportive team environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals enrolled in the detox program who are navigating the complexities of substance abuse and related mental health issues. This population often presents with diverse challenges, including trauma histories, social isolation, and co-occurring disorders. You will work closely with clients to instill hope and foster healing through evidence-based practices tailored to their unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Kansas.

• Strong understanding of social and economic justice issues, as well as knowledge about trauma-informed care and resource connections.

Compensation and Benefits\n
