Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students' psychosocial needs to develop personalized treatment plans.

• Collaborate with educational teams to implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) effectively, monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as necessary.

• Provide therapeutic support to both students and their families, facilitating discussions and interventions aimed at improving students' emotional wellbeing and academic performance.

• Document client interactions, assessments, and treatment outcomes in compliance with all federal and state regulations, ensuring confidentiality and ethical standards are maintained.

• Cultivate relationships with students, families, and colleagues to foster a trusting and nurturing learning environment conducive to growth.

• Engage in crisis management and risk assessments when necessary, ensuring a proactive approach to safeguarding student wellbeing.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily focus on students from diverse backgrounds who may be experiencing various emotional and psychological challenges. This may include, but is not limited to, anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and difficulties adjusting to different life circumstances. Understanding the unique challenges faced by each student and their families is imperative to providing effective support and guidance.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Colorado is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment processes for children and adolescents.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with students, families, and inter-disciplinary teams.

• Organizational skills and planning abilities to manage caseloads effectively and document treatment efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with children or adolescents in a mental health, educational, or community setting is preferred.
