Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual and group therapy services to clients utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to their needs.

• Consult with prenatal care team members, including medical providers, midwives, doulas, lactation educators, and consultants to foster comprehensive integrated care for families.

• Co-facilitate childbirth education and postpartum peer support groups, engaging with birth workers to enhance community support systems.

• Participate in community engagement initiatives to promote holistic wellness and help build a support network among birthing individuals and families.
\n
• Actively engage in clinical consultations and collaborative learning spaces to enhance your professional skills and contribute to team cohesion.

• Ensure all clinical documentation complies with established standards and regulations, maintaining up-to-date records of client interactions and treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on supporting pregnant individuals and new parents, along with their families, who may be experiencing a range of mental health challenges during key transitional periods of their lives. As part of a holistic care approach, you will help clients navigate stressors related to pregnancy, childbirth, and early parenting stages.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current licensure in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse cultural and interdisciplinary backgrounds.
\n
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities efficiently, while being open to seeking help when needed.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with perinatal clients and families, specifically in settings related to reproductive health or maternal mental health.

• Familiarity with community resources and support networks in the area of reproductive health.
\n
• Previous experience in a collaborative care model or integrated health systems is a significant plus.

• A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload responsibilities.
