Key Responsibilities

• Direct physical therapy treatment to prevent disability, relieve pain, and restore function according to the individualized plan of care.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure they effectively implement treatment plans.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' functional levels through diagnostic testing and assessments.
• Assess and recommend modifications to patients' home environments to enhance rehabilitation and independence.
• Administer therapeutic modalities, including manual exercises and physical agents like traction and massage.
• Fit and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices, communicating any necessary modifications to physicians.
• Document clinical records including evaluations, care plans, and progress notes accurately and promptly.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaboratively discuss patient progress and therapeutic strategies.
• Educate clients and their families about therapy programs and proper equipment usage to foster engagement and compliance.
• Conduct functional assessments and adapt care plans based on ongoing evaluations of clients' needs.
• Complete additional tasks as needed to support the overall objectives of the organization.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, based on experience and qualifications.
