Key Responsibilities

As an LMFT, you will engage with couples, families, and individuals to address a variety of issues affecting mental health and family dynamics. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to identify therapy goals for couples and families.
• Facilitating therapeutic sessions both with couples and individuals to ensure comprehensive support.
• Providing specialized therapy addressing issues such as conflicts among family members, grief and loss, communication difficulties, and adjustments to separation or divorce.
• Designing treatment plans that are tailored to the needs of each family unit or individual.
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment strategies accordingly.
• Maintaining accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Participating in continual professional development to stay abreast of the latest therapeutic techniques and mental health trends.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele ranges from adults to children and adolescents, dealing with diverse challenges. You will engage with individuals and families experiencing issues like alcohol and substance abuse, psychological trauma, blended families, and stress related to job and medical issues. Your expertise will significantly impact their ability to lead fulfilling lives and improve their overall mental wellness.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• An active state license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Exemplary interpersonal skills with a strong commitment to patient care and confidentiality.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and adapt strategies to meet individual needs.

Preferred Experience

While newly licensed candidates are encouraged to apply, we also welcome experienced therapists who can bring a wealth of knowledge to our practice. Flexibility concerning availability will be important, as we seek individuals who can commit to at least 30 hours per week. Experience in teletherapy and innovative treatment modalities will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits
