Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain open accessibility to clients and their loved ones by promptly returning calls and emails within two hours during business hours, and within 24 hours at all other times.

• Collaborate with the Utilization Review Department and Business Department regarding insurance authorizations and payment processes, ensuring seamless communication with referral sources and outpatient providers.
\n
• Engage in proactive discharge planning starting on the day of admission, confirming discharge appointments with patients and their families prior to completion of treatment.
\n
• Effectively manage crises as they arise during sessions, providing guidance and support to both patients and milieu staff to ensure a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.
\n
• Complete all clinical documentation in a timely manner, ensuring all required entries are made at the time of service to uphold compliance and quality standards.
\n
• Establish and maintain a therapeutic rapport with patients and their families, continuously assessing for suicidality and any potential risks to safety.
\n
• Carry out patient admission assessments with professionalism and kindness, actively participating in clinical outreach and program tours as needed.
\n
• Engage in weekly treatment team meetings to discuss and align on patient goals, while offering additional clinical support to team members as required.
\n
• Conduct utilization reviews for insurance companies, providing pertinent clinical information necessary for obtaining initial and continuing stay authorizations.
