Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with a weekly treatment team to discuss and set patient treatment goals, ensuring that all team members are informed and engaged in the therapeutic process.

• Provide utilization reviews to insurance companies, presenting necessary clinical details to secure initial and ongoing authorizations.
\n
• Maintain open and timely communication with family members and loved ones, responding to calls and emails within 2 hours during business hours, and within 24 hours during off hours.
\n
• Engage with the Utilization Review and Business Departments on authorization and payment-related issues, ensuring seamless communication with referral sources and outpatient providers for continuity of care.
\n
• Initiate discharge planning on the day of admission, leading to thorough discharge sessions where coping strategies and transition plans are explained and confirmed right before discharge.
\n
• Effectively manage crises in therapy sessions, providing constant support to milieu staff while ensuring high clinical standards are met across the team.
\n
• Complete clinical documentation during or immediately after sessions to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
\n
• Establish and nurture therapeutic rapport with clients and their families, performing risk assessments for suicidality and safety concerns.
\n
• Facilitate the admission process for new patients in a manner that conveys professionalism and warmth, guiding them through their initial assessments.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing various mental health challenges. Your interventions will be designed to address specific needs and foster resilience in clients while providing them with tools and resources to manage their conditions effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in a relevant field such as clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work from an accredited institution.

• An independent license, such as LCSW, LMFT, or LPC, to practice in the state where you reside.

• Expertise in managing a significant caseload effectively while collaborating with multiple providers and support staff.

• Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems and adept email communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits\n
