Deeper Strength Counseling Services is searching for a compassionate and culturally competent Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to join our dedicated team on a full-time remote basis. Work Environment\n

As a remote position, this role offers significant flexibility, allowing therapists to work in a comfortable setting while engaging with clients through telehealth platforms. Our work schedule is generally Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the understanding that some flexibility may be needed to accommodate the varied schedules of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gain a comprehensive understanding of each patient’s unique experiences and challenges.

• Develop tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic interventions that consider the cultural and personal backgrounds of clients.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions to effectively address a wide range of mental health concerns and promote overall well-being.

• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other allied professionals to ensure holistic treatment approaches for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support during mental health emergencies, remaining calm and focused under pressure.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, coping strategies, and community resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Actively engage in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing cultural competency training to enhance service delivery.

• Stay updated with the latest research, best practices, and cultural considerations relevant to mental health therapy.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Texas.
\n
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, coupled with demonstrated cultural competence in therapeutic practices.

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy, utilizing culturally responsive and inclusive methodologies.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications.
\n
• Commitment to ethical guidelines, maintaining professional boundaries, and safeguarding client confidentiality.

• Ability to function effectively within a multidisciplinary team, showcasing collaborative skills in a remote work environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of relevant experience providing mental health counseling in a therapeutic setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
