Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Cornerstone, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Lead and manage therapeutic group sessions for young adults, fostering a safe and supportive environment where participants can share personal experiences, insights, and learning.

• Individual Therapy Sessions: Provide empathetic and personalized counseling tailored to the unique needs of each client. You will guide them in exploring their emotions and behaviors, helping them build coping skills and actionable plans for recovery.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that reflect their goals, preferences, and progress. Integrate evidence-based practices with a holistic approach for best outcomes.

• Monitoring Progress: Utilize various assessment tools and feedback mechanisms to evaluate clients' advancements and adapt treatment strategies accordingly, ensuring optimal results.

• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to ensure cohesive care delivery, regularly consulting on complex cases and coordinating with other therapists, psychiatrists, and case managers.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are seeking help through our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). These individuals face a range of mental health challenges, and your role will be pivotal in guiding them toward recovery and empowerment. By providing evidence-based and holistic treatment options, you will help clients transform their lives, regain their confidence, and navigate the ongoing complexities of their emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study and is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. Successful candidates will have a genuine passion for mental health and a strong desire to make a difference in people's lives.

Preferred Experience\n

While we welcome LPCs at various stages of their careers, experience working with young adults, particularly in telehealth settings, is highly advantageous. Compensation and Benefits\n
