Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will bear crucial responsibilities, including:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Lead engaging group sessions focused on building connections among clients, allowing them to share experiences and learn from one another.

• Providing Individual Therapy: Conduct personalized counseling sessions that support clients in exploring their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, while developing coping strategies and actionable plans for their mental health journeys.

• Creating Treatment Plans: Collaborate closely with clients to design individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that address their unique needs and preferences.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve young adults in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), meeting clients aged 18 to 30 who are experiencing a variety of mental health challenges. Our approach emphasizes an individualized treatment experience, recognizing the unique backgrounds and needs of our clients while providing a supportive environment that fosters healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

Preferred Experience\n

We are looking for candidates with at least two years of professional experience in counseling, specifically with teens and young adults. Familiarity with telehealth practices and evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is highly desirable. Experience in creating treatment plans and utilizing assessment tools will be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n
