Work Environment\n

This role is designed for remote work, allowing you the flexibility to connect with patients and conduct assessments from the comfort of your home, while still maintaining strong ties with your supportive colleagues at the outpatient office. Our work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, with a focus on understanding how various medical conditions influence the mental well-being of patients.

• Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic approaches, ensuring customization to fit the individual circumstances of each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, assessing risks and determining the best course of action.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on serving a diverse patient population with complex needs, including those experiencing chronic medical conditions compounded by mental health issues. This includes patients grappling with dual diagnoses, where mental illness intersects with physical health challenges, requiring a sensitive and informed approach to care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Strong proficiency in effectively addressing the mental health needs of individuals with co-occurring medical conditions.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering integrated care and working closely with medical professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n
