Work Environment\n

In this remote role, you will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while collaborating with a team of mental health professionals. Our commitment to a trauma-informed care model forms the backbone of our practice. You will work Mondays through Fridays, ideally from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the opportunity for some scheduling flexibility to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to better understand patients' historical experiences and treatment needs.

• Create and execute individualized treatment plans aimed at healing trauma and building resilience, with the support of various therapeutic modalities.

• Utilize effective treatment methods such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, assisting patients in processing trauma, developing healthier coping strategies, and promoting overall healing.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and integrated care pathways for patients.
\n
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and stabilization.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and resources available within the community.
\n
• Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential documentation in accordance with legal standards and ethical practices.
\n
• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to foster collaboration and continuous improvement in patient care practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a member of our team, you will work primarily with individuals who have experienced significant trauma and are navigating the complexities of recovery. Our patients often include those dealing with PTSD, survivors of abuse, natural disaster victims, and individuals facing other traumatic experiences that affect their mental health. You will play an essential role in supporting them as they work through their trauma, fostering resilience and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A thorough understanding of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities is critical for success in this role.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate approach to therapy are essential.

• Capability to remain calm and professional during high-stress situations is necessary.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant medical software is required.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges between $90,000 and $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
