Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will:

• Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for couples and families, addressing their unique needs and challenges.
• Provide individual therapy sessions for family members, utilizing evidence-based practices to encourage open communication and healing.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions to navigate common family dynamics and issues, such as grief, conflict resolution, and communication difficulties.
• Utilize telemedicine and in-person session options to cater to the preferences and needs of your clients.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in an electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and organizational standards.
• Engage in regular case consultations with fellow therapists to share insights, challenges, and successful strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clientele will include a diverse range of individuals and families facing complex emotional and psychological issues. Areas of focus will consist of:

• Family and couple dynamics, including but not limited to grief and loss, communication challenges, separation, and blended family situations.
• Issues surrounding substance abuse and psychological trauma.
• Life stressors, including job-related stress, health issues, and transitional periods such as divorce or remarriage.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
