Position Overview

Tri-County Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate licensed Physical Therapist to join our team at our Charlottesville, Virginia rehabilitation facility. This full-time, onsite position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities and determine appropriate treatment plans based on integral history information and specific assessments.
• Communicate evaluation results and treatment plans clearly to both patients and their families, including actively involving them in goal-setting processes.
• Implement tailored treatment protocols, adapting to the patient's individual presentation and clinical needs while keeping abreast of changes in healthcare standards and practices.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, actively recognizing and documenting changes in patient conditions, with the potential for revision of care plans when necessary.
• Manage discharge planning effectively, ensuring follow-up care is organized and documented accurately. This includes producing clear, timely records that track a patient's progress throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Utilize strong time management skills to meet productivity expectations and maintain an accurate schedule while participating in departmental marketing and outreach initiatives.
• Contribute proactively to department objectives, ensuring compliance with all governmental and accreditation regulations.
• Pursue ongoing professional development through educational opportunities to enhance personal competency and contribute to the organizational growth.
• Enhance patient experience by demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in care delivery, and actively contributing to initiatives that remove barriers to access.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Physical Therapist will work with a diverse patient population comprising individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, chronic pain conditions, and neuromuscular disorders. We focus on personalized rehabilitation, ensuring every care plan aligns with the unique needs and goals of each patient, fostering an environment of hope and motivation for recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and compassionately to patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• While prior experience in a clinical setting is not required, any previous internships or clinical rotations will be viewed favorably.
• Experience with common rehabilitation tools and software systems used in Physical Therapy.
