Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, including assessments of mobility, strength, and functional capacity.
• Develop, implement, and adapt individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals, integrating evidence-based practices.
• Provide direct patient care through skilled therapeutic interventions, including exercise programs, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to facilitate rehabilitation.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies in consultation with patients and their caregivers to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Document patient care and treatment sessions meticulously using our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and insurance requirements.
• Promote a patient-centric approach by actively engaging with patients and their families, providing education on therapeutic exercises and lifestyle modifications to prevent further injury.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists and physicians, to enhance the holistic care provided to each patient.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to clinic initiatives aimed at improving service delivery and patient satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist with Monadnock Care Solution, you will have the opportunity to treat a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, pediatric patients, those with neurologic conditions, and athletes requiring specialized sports medicine care. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state license in Physical Therapy, with eligibility to practice in Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective patient interaction and collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Competence in utilizing computer systems and EHR software for documentation and communication.
• Commitment to building meaningful relationships with patients, fostering an environment of trust and motivation.

Preferred Experience

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is highly desirable.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting.
• Experience working in diverse specializations such as pediatric care, orthopedic rehabilitation, and sports medicine.
• Current CPR certification is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
