Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work in a bustling outpatient clinic setting that fosters collaboration among healthcare professionals. Working hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide customized physical therapy treatments based on patients' specific rehabilitation goals, adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Manage a well-structured caseload, ensuring all patients receive appropriate time and attention to meet their individual treatment objectives.
• Employ orthopedic outpatient care techniques with proficiency and confidence, drawing on your previous experiences as a Physical Therapist.
• Implement cost-effective treatment modalities to maximize patients' movement capabilities and functional independence.
• Promote non-surgical solutions and limit reliance on pharmaceuticals by incorporating holistic rehabilitation practices.
• Create and refine comprehensive treatment plans that integrate various therapeutic techniques and address diverse client needs.
• Design and implement customized fitness and wellness programs that align with individual patient profiles.
• Utilize evidence-based methodologies to ensure the effectiveness and relevance of the care provided.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their therapeutic journey, fostering a positive and empowering environment.
• Focus on improving patients' overall health by enhancing essential physical attributes such as strength, balance, coordination, and flexibility.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to enhance integrated patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Completed a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program from an accredited institution.
• Possess an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• Maintain a clean licensing record with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exhibit a high level of proficiency in various manual therapy techniques.
• Demonstrate an exceptional ability to design and implement successful exercise programs tailored to each patient.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for accurate documentation and patient record management.
• Stay current with innovative physical therapy methodologies supported by the latest research findings.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
