Joint Journey Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to enhance our outpatient clinic team in Charlottesville, Virginia. Work Environment

This role is situated within our vibrant outpatient office environment, where collaboration and communication are paramount. Operating from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, our clinic is designed for maximum interaction between staff and patients, fostering a supportive and engaging atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver customized, hands-on physical therapy treatments tailored to each patient's specific goals and health concerns.
• Maintain a balanced caseload to ensure each patient receives ample one-on-one attention and care throughout their treatment journey.
• Utilize advanced orthopedic outpatient techniques to assist in the rehabilitation of various conditions, leveraging experience to enhance patient outcomes.
• Implement evidence-based treatment strategies that prioritize non-invasive therapies, minimizing reliance on medications and surgical interventions.
• Design comprehensive care plans that may include a variety of modalities, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
• Encourage and motivate patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals, regularly adapting treatment plans as necessary based on progress.
• Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress diligently using EMR software, with a particular focus on Web PT for accurate and secure record-keeping.
• Conduct continuous assessments to evaluate treatment effectiveness and make informed adjustments based on patient feedback and clinical observations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive treatment strategies and optimal patient care.
• Champion a wellness philosophy that promotes patient education on lifestyle modifications aimed at enhancing physical activity, strength, and overall health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is working with a diverse patient population in an outpatient setting, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our holistic approach prioritizes patient engagement and empowerment, allowing clients to take an active role in their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program from an accredited institution.
• Possess an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia without any history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exhibit proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and demonstrate core competencies in developing effective exercise programs.
• Adept in the application of clinical knowledge as it relates to current research and best practices in physical therapy.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly in utilizing Web PT for accurate and efficient documentation of patient care.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred, showcasing a strong foundation in diverse treatment approaches.
• Experience in developing and implementing successful rehabilitation programs tailored to the unique needs of diverse patient demographics.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with emerging physical therapy techniques and methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a highly competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
