Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide tailored patient care addressing unique rehabilitation needs, ensuring a comprehensive approach to treatment.
• Assess and maintain a balanced patient load to deliver high-quality care without compromising attention to individual needs.
• Utilize expertise in orthopedic care by conducting thorough evaluations and creating effective treatment plans based on best practices.
• Implement cost-effective, evidence-based interventions, focusing on improving functional movement patterns and reducing pain.
• Encourage non-surgical treatment alternatives that alleviate reliance on medication, fostering a commitment to patient safety.
• Design and supervise customized fitness and wellness programs that align with patient goals, enhancing their recovery journey.
• Motivate patients throughout their treatment, providing emotional support and affirmations to build confidence and resilience.
• Continuously evaluate patient response to treatment, adjusting care plans as needed to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Collaborate across professional boundaries, engaging with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Document all interactions and treatment sessions accurately using EMR software, specifically Web PT, to maintain meticulous patient records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The expected clientele at our rehabilitation facility encompasses a diverse demographic, including post-operative patients, athletes recovering from injuries, and individuals managing chronic pain or mobility issues. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia with no sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exceptional skills in various manual therapy techniques, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning.
• Proven capability in developing and implementing effective exercise programs tailored to patient rehabilitation needs.
• Proficient in utilizing EMR software, particularly Web PT, for accurate and efficient documentation practices.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient clinical setting, specifically focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Background working with sports medicine patients or a familiarity with athletic injuries is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an attractive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
