Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at our clinic, you will undertake various responsibilities including:

• Conducting detailed consultations with patients to understand their physical conditions and symptoms.
• Identifying movement dysfunctions and developing tailored treatment plans that address specific needs.
• Educating patients on effective therapeutic exercise methods to enhance their recovery.
• Utilizing manual therapy techniques, such as massage and stimulation, to promote healing and alleviate pain.
• Assisting patients in the proper use of mobility equipment, including wheelchairs and walkers, to ensure their safety and independence.
• Maintaining accurate patient records, tracking progress against goals, and adapting treatment plans as necessary.
• Offering guidance to patients and their families on in-home treatment options and exercises that facilitate continued progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position should possess:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
