Work Environment

This position will be based onsite at our modern rehabilitation center, where you will work closely with a collaborative team of healthcare professionals dedicated to improving patient health and wellness. Our facility is equipped with the latest equipment and technology to facilitate effective therapy interventions and support comprehensive care. The daily operational hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality, individualized patient care by managing the complete therapeutic process for an assigned group of patients in coordination with physicians and other members of the healthcare team.
• Conducting thorough patient assessments and formulating personalized care plans that focus on achieving specific health goals and enhancing patient engagement.
• Administering physical therapy treatments as per the physician's directives, ensuring compliance with established legal and ethical standards.
• Facilitating patients' therapeutic care by using evidence-based interventions, including rehabilitation exercises to enhance functional outcomes.
• Educating patients, families, and caregivers on effective therapeutic exercises, the use of therapeutic devices, and techniques for continued care at home.
• Managing your caseload efficiently by determining daily staffing needs and coordinating therapy assignments and transitions among team members.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will be working with both adults and children, tailoring therapies to meet specific age-related and condition-related needs, thereby fostering an environment that nurtures recovery while promoting mobility and independence.

Qualifications

The minimum qualifications for this role include:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, with a focus on orthopedic conditions preferred.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly in orthopedics.
• Active state license as a Physical Therapist, ensuring adherence to professional and regulatory standards.
• A clean disciplinary record that demonstrates professional integrity and ethical conduct.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a proven track record in developing tailored treatment plans.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, notably WebPT, enhancing documentation efficiency.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates who have:

• Experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings, particularly with a patient demographic similar to our facility.
• Advanced certification or specialization in orthopedic physical therapy.
• A history of developing collaborative relationships with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits
