Work Environment

As an onsite Physical Therapist at Better Everyday Clinic, you will work in a collaborative outpatient office setting that focuses on patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for a range of tasks that contribute significantly to patient wellness:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions to understand their symptoms and limitations.
• Diagnose movement dysfunctions and develop tailored treatment plans that align with patients' goals and lifestyles.
• Educate patients on therapeutic exercises and ensure they understand how to perform them correctly to maximize their recovery.
• Utilize various modalities, such as massage and electrical stimulation, to facilitate healing and alleviate pain.
• Guide patients in the proper use of adaptive equipment, such as wheelchairs and walkers, ensuring they can navigate their environments safely.
• Document patient progress meticulously, maintaining accurate records to track their recovery and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Engage with patients and their families to provide guidance on at-home exercises and self-care strategies for continued improvement.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
