Work Environment

This Full-Time position is based onsite at our outpatient office, where you will collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for a range of essential duties, including:

• Conducting detailed patient assessments, reviewing pertinent medical histories, and performing standardized tests to develop tailored treatment plans aimed at maximizing patient recovery.
• Communicating evaluation findings and treatment plans effectively to patients and their families, engaging them in goal setting and therapy progression.
• Implementing evidence-based treatment protocols and adjusting them as necessary based on patient feedback and progress, utilizing modalities and hands-on techniques to enhance recovery.
• Collaborating with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care and promptly documenting any changes in patient conditions that may affect treatment plans.
• Completing thorough discharge planning and follow-up care, documenting each patient's course through detailed records including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge assessments.
• Managing time efficiently to meet productivity standards and ensuring all meetings and patient appointments are honored punctually.
• Actively participating in marketing initiatives within the community to enhance clinic visibility and outreach.
• Contributing to departmental objectives and compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards, demonstrating personal initiative in professional development and continuing education.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, sports injuries, chronic pain, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• A valid physical therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing compassionate care.

Preferred Experience
