Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), tailored to individual client needs, with a focus on reducing stress and enhancing overall emotional well-being.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of clients to identify key stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, ensuring an individualized and person-centered approach to care.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation practices, and breathing techniques to promote self-awareness and emotional regulation, encouraging an active role in their own mental health journey.

• Facilitate virtual group workshops and classes focusing on mindfulness practices, stress management, and resilience-building strategies, enhancing community support among participants.

• Integrate mindfulness principles into individual therapy sessions, addressing a variety of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, and trauma.

• Collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals and healthcare providers to create a cohesive treatment plan that aligns with the overarching goals of client care.

• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation of client progress, interventions applied, and treatment plans that reflect best practices in mental health therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California is essential.
